Unlock My Phone allows you to remove the carrier restricting locks on your Android phone. The carrier restrictions can bind you to expensive contracts or tight data requirements. Unlocking your phone, also called jailbreaking, can give you more customization with your phone plan and usage without having to pay up for an expensive manufacturer-unlocked device.

The app will request some device information including the IMEI, which is a unique number to your handset, and the network. You will also need to identify the country you live in to allow the app to generate the code that will unlock your handset.
